Nope I am in the hospital right now with my newborn and wife...the nurses have some sympathy but other than that I'm not impressed ...although I have heard rumours they occasionally apologize when they realize they killed a family member but typically its more of a "what can we do to make this go away" than a formal apology. Apparently it's more common than it seems
