Obviously, there is a generation that has been severely brainwashed. I don't agree with it but I don't agree these people can't be forgiven and go to Heaven.
According to Jesus Himself there is on one unpardonable sin.
Mathews 12:31 - Wherefore I say unto you, All manner of sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven unto men: but the blasphemy against the Holy Ghost shall not be forgiven unto men.
Still trying to work that out myself. I'm wondering if it's some kind of staunch atheism? What could be more blasphemous than denying the existence of your creator, especially given the obvious world of creation you experience every day that proves it?
There are a two trains of thought on what it actually means. I'll explain the first one which is the way Charismatics believe. You can research online the Fundamentalists view.
Charismatics: When Jesus spoke of the blasphemy of the Holy Ghost he was talking to the Pharisees who had just accused him of working with the devil when he performed miracles. Jesus did these works/miracles through the Holy Ghost, so the Pharisees were blaspheming the Holy Ghost. Basically it's attributing the Holy Trinity's (God, Jesus, Holy Ghost) works to the devil.
I don't mean to sound stupid here but I am learning the bible. Just finished rereading some of Genesis. I just really like the beginning. I find when I reread I get better at understanding God's word. When you say "but the blasphemy against the Holy Ghost shall not be forgiven unto men." Can you help me understand that a little better?
God loves everyone especially the sinners.i anticipate there will be more of a party in heaven when a transgender convert shows up than when my grandmother who went to church religiously (no pun intended) does. Ref the parable of the prodigal son

What does blasphemy against the Holy Spirit mean?

Hope that helps.
