I am also waiting to hear some cogent analysis. There are many factors to consider:

Kazakhstan mines 40% of world's uranium.

Kazakhstan is rich in oil.

Kazakhstan is very rich in other natural resources (precious metals etc.)

Kazakhstan lies right between Russia and China.

Kazakhstan is obviously major NWO hdqrts.

In light of all this, it's safe to say Putin's moves involve a number of shrewd calculations that may not be apparent to most.
