Yes, I know what it is and I do enjoy a good gin'n'tonic, but you are talking about taking it daily. Do you know what else besides quinine and carbondioxid is in it? The daily sugar is certainly going to do something about ones figure... :-)
I would only bother using it as prophylaxis if I was in a vulnerable group during flu season, but if I get symptoms of COVID I'm drinking a bottle per day. This advice is more for people with grandparents.

I sometimes get the diet tonics, with no added sugars.
But isn't it then an artificial sweetener? Not sure those are healthy.
Q tonic is sweetened with agave.
However, modern tonic water doesn’t have nearly the level of quinine as was in the stuff used prophylactically against malaria.
1 liter of tonic water contains 83 mg of quinine. Not an insignificant dose when you consider Dr. Zelenko's protocol.
You could even increase to 2 liters per day if you get symptoms of covid.
I drink Canada Dry and Ginger Ale often times.

Sure a temporary "splurge" is probably not going to harm you, but I was talking about doing it over a prolonged period.
