Vaccinated pilots does NOT want to make me fly. This is nothing to be proud about, the blackmail of shots for a job. Medical emergencies from heart attacks and blood clots will and can occur mid flight, couple that with mask mandates, TSA checks, cramped and filthy seats, rude stewards and stewardesses (some of whom are getting off on the control they have of getting you booted from flights), obnoxious passengers (who don’t care that you don’t like their stinky feet on your arm rest, snoring passengers, drunk passengers, obnoxious Karens, turned up volume on music, seat back kicking children, etc.), no food service, flight delays and cancellations. There is nothing that they can do to coax me on to a plane. I would rather drive within the U.S. and I can control when I get there, when I stop, if I get there safely, etc. same with cruise ships-I wouldn’t submit to a shot to be able to cruise with “fully vaccinated” crews and passengers in order to have the privilege of getting sick and being quarantined. The ludicrous rules are unscientific and poorly based on a test not designed to test for Covid.
You nailed it Cloe. I am aghast at people who tell me they are going on a "cruise" and flying somewhere to get on it. I'm going to study and memorize your post and use it from now on.
People used to get dressed up to fly now they wear wife beater shirts and sweatpants
The only reason to fly is if you can't take the time to drive. I drove across the country 4 times 4 times last year. I loved it. My shortest time was 2 1/2 days from Knoxville to Los Angeles. I enjoyed the scenery. It was also cheaper that flying.
sounds as bad as a greyhound bus ride.
