She did convert to Islam and her son committed suicide. I remember this as well and was so upset that she did this at the time. I too was a sheep thinking it was such a slap in the face of my religious belief but thankfully woke up and started questioning my faith in a church and went looking for my relationship with God.
Maybe she did know something back then. But, her converting to another religion known to have child sex abuse issues seems to suggest both things being stunts. Or maybe she is one of those lost people constantly trying on new identities in the name of finding herself?

never understood the converting to islam. the leader of that religion married a nine year old. If you are against child abuse why join a religion that sanctions it.
