Taking it here daily with a Zelenco pill at a good friends recommendation but still fuzzy on exactly why NAC? His descriptions went over my head with detail.
NAC does two things: 1) it interrupts the process by which the virus damages cells, and 2) independently of that, it helps break up blood clots.
This doctor has a number of videos on covid, and a few specifically on NAC. The goes and whys are complicated, but I think he explains it very well. https://youtu.be/kK-DNyKnb5c
That video was just right for being technical but not too much. it's also one that I could share with my vaxinated relatives if they ever start wanting to look for other answers. I'm planning to be a knowledgeable resource and well supplied with practical solutions.
I'm glad it was useful. I took the whole course from the beginning of covid early 2020. If you go to their website, medcram.com, the course is free. The site is primarily continuing education for doctors. The early videos in the Covid course are full of unknowns and a lot of discussion of drugs and therapies that didn't work or got replaced by better treatments. But the value of going to the website is that each video is numbered and clearly labeled as to what topics it contains, making it easy to use (and free of YouTube covid warnings). You have to register, but this course is free, and for me it was well worth it.
