The obvious answer is that he is correlating his friends #'s with the lot # that are having adverse reactions so he can warn his friends of possible problems they might have.
If he has been doing it for 6 months my guess is that the injection his friends got are safe.
It's roughly 5% of the shots that have nearly a 100% incident rate.
I haven't lost anyone close to the vax since not too many people I'm close to got it.
But I CHOULD have looked up #'s to show them why they shouldn't get another one and filled in their card for them for their 2nd dose / booster. Not that I would do something like that for someone I care about....
