I think she sold out for a cancer cure for her mom. She was diagnosed with brain cancer not long before Taylor started spouting political BS. Up to that point TS never said anything about politics. Maybe they dangled a treatment or off the books cure to get her to publicly spout the party line. Afaik her mom is still with us…
