The onus of providing data transparency is on the manufacturers and CDC/FDA etc. In the absence of such transparency, we will use common sense. They can easily disprove this by releasing full data.
Until then all this hand-wringing aint gonna save any lives. If this analysis happens to be hyperbolic, but results in more data transparency I am all for it.
