Sometimes those of us who hang out here have a tendency to look through the lens of having known for quite some time the enormity of the evil that faces us. When asking questions such as yours, we must see things as the normies see them. After all the normies outnumber both the awakened Patriots and the diehard sheep.

My Dad has been fully on board the Trump train since the day he and Melania came down the escalator. He was a Tea Party cheerleader. He has been lecturing me on the overreach of government since I was a child.

But still to this day he can not grasp the depths of the evil. He simply can not bring himself to believe that there are so many within our government, education system, organized religion and business that have an agenda that is pure evil. He cant bring himself to believe they would kill us so capriciously and with intent.

One of his favorite questions to ask me in the last couple years is "do you trust anyone?" And "do you think everyone is evil?"

That is the inertia President Trump is fighting against. Sometimes the people need to be shown and this will include painful lessons. Unfortunately there is no other way to bring people to their senses.

It seems to me to be working though. The People are waking up. True, it is too slow for us whose eyes are and have been wide open, but progress is being made. I can see it for myself with my Dad.

My brother is a different animal. He too voted Trump but he prefers deliberate obtuseness. He doesnt want to contemplate the danger we face. As a veteran of the first Gulf War who was on board the Tripoli when it hit the mine and in Abu Dhabi when the scud hit the barracks, I would have thought he would have awakened by now. But he hasnt despite the tremendous pressure that I and my sister have applied to make him open his eyes. But he will when it matters most. He is a true Patriot just a blind one at this time.
