The N95 that states on the box "This mask will not protect you from coronavirus"
It has a one way filter, so the out breath isn't filtered, and it can only filter particles down to 0.3 micron, The start size of most coronaviruses is 0.16 micron.
I know you said "starts at" but it's really more like 60-100nm, so quite a bit less than that.
It's a basketball through a hula hoop built for a small giant, though really its like trying to throw a basketball through a mesh with a million holes the size of hula hoops built for a small giant. All you have to do is not hit the edge of one AND have it bounce backwards instead of inwards.
If there are airborne virions floating around, where there's one, there's a thousand buddies along with it, so you have to get lucky with that hula hoop protection multiple times if there is someone sick around. This is probably why all studies on masks do not show any statistically significant efficacy against viral transmission in every study I've seen so far to date.
Yes I had to go with a median figure as people would start arguing specifics viruses, the point is the same. N95 stop very little as they weren't invented for a medical setting (at least that's my understanding)
Just as the PCR was never designed as a diagnostic tool, the N95 respirator was never designed for pathogens. 3M originally designed the N95 for the coal industry. It is designed for particulates, which are very different than a non-existing virus.
Except healrhcare organizations for the most part, provide only the surgical masks also. Masks don't really work, :) an aside, if masks were a true barrier and the disease was a 'true' risk, we would be discouraged from keeping masks in our pockets, hanging from rear view mirrors (as the only place healthcare workers have to wear masks is in the building), and would not be allowed to reuse them until they so disintegrate.
Follow the money! I'm still not wearing one!

Just saying.

They also have a bacteria problem.

Masks that conform to the new guidelines will be MUCH less comfy, and people do not like being uncomfy. Watch how fast they stop obeying.
Sweet. A different mask will stop the Wuhan virus dead in its tracks.
Then the plandemic will be over and we can all go back to normal, right?
Two weeks to flatten the curve with new masks.
I got to start selling "N95" ink stamps online soon!
we have all these mask on faces and all these covid cases.. what the fuck people. wake up, it is right in your face and you just walk on by.
