Honestly I need to join you on the cover to cover. I get carried away now that the words jump - I keep goin go Slow and really digesting. Haha maybe I should pick up the pace.
The pleasure is mine. These talks mean a lot to me. I’ve been really blessed and given so much.
I started read the King James Bible. It was tough for me at first so i switched to NIV. Then i started to see a few slight differences. Most of them not so noticable. But the one that stood out was the use of the word "terrible" in King James, and in the NIV "awesome" was used in place of terrible.
It just goes to show how satan has been manipulating our language for so long. I found that interesting, because a few years ago i happened across a video of someone explaining this. I never let go of it.
I've read Animal Farm, Brave New World, and 1984 so i have a good idea of how they operate. Some other books that helped my understanding were The Creature From Jekyll Island, Gulag Archipelago, We The Living by Ayn Rand, What I Believe by Tolstoy, and Tragedy and Jope by Carol Quigley. I only made it half way through Tragedy and Hope before i started my Bible read. But i plan on returning to it once i am done.
