Trying to deflect blame and confuse the issue so nobody is held accountable.

As the armorer in any situation regarding firearms, they are the last person to receive and review the status and quality of the firearms and ammo. They're the "last line of defense" when it comes to preventing mishaps like this one. In other words, she's screwed.
