I think it's straight up protection for the building when "the shot" actually happens. With the last couple of weeks, and just what happened today alone, this protection barrier almost soldifies the fact it IS happening.
How many are, seriously, going to lose their minds when this happens? They're going to blame the government. The White House needs to stay protected. I'm not American, but I do understand how important that building is.
But that would imply that the white house is important. While yes it is there precedent to rebuild it should it be destroyed. So if there really was a kinetic war occurring would it be team trump or team deep state that's in control of the whote house. Thoughts. Or it really is just regular construction.
