SS: Get your Vitamin-D levels checked frogs! 50-80 is where your levels should be. I recommend Vitamin D3 + K2 (if you're using blood thinners don't take K2).
Stay healthy frendos!
p.s. you can buy vitamin D at-home tests from Amazon.. pretty cheap (like $30).
Assuming from your comment that you know a little about vitamins, got a question for ya;
If I want to acquire my Vitamin D the natural way (sun on skin), how many minutes/ hours of direct shirtless exposure do I need per day if Im all the way in southern Texas?
It depends on your skin tone, if you're white all you need is 30 minutes a day to get the recommended dosage. Those with darker skin need a longer exposure, I think this doc summed it up quite nicely:

Whatever your method for getting Vit D, checking your levels will tell you if it’s working.
No, if you live in what's called the 37th parallel, you're not going to get an adequate amount of exposure:

That's why Vitamin D3 is so important and testing will help you determine if you're at a healthy level or not.
