After Sessions "resigned", Trump made him acting AG, democrats sued since Whitaker was Sessions' chief of staff, i.e. ineligible to be named acting AG, according to them. Court said they were wrong. Whitaker is pretty based, shortly after his appointment dems panicked since he was now in charge of Mueller and called him in Congress, where he slapped down Jerry Nadler. https://youtube.com/watch?v=lXl47c_fJMs
