eventually that independent agency would get corrupted and just become another tentacle of the hydra. we've been down this road before.
The eternal question, who watches the watchmen.
The answer is virtuous men who always know what is good and do what is good, then you won't have to worry as much for corruption. The best way to produce such men is a culture and society that hates evil and loves goodness and truth. The best and most reliable manner in producing such culture that produces such men is Jesus Christ and the religion of Christianity.
Christendom, i.e. Western Civilization, is such a thing that was produced by the Christian religion. It will be a hard sell but it may be time to give primacy to Jesus Christ and the Bible in the Constitution or in some way without alienating or oppressing other religions. To acknowledge that Christ is King not only over our private lives, but over the public life as well.
People forget that Islam has always been the greatest existential threat to Christendom for 1000 years and may be again. And we don't need to repeat the crimes of the satanists, and now they have frkn after-school satan clubs. That garbage needs to be outlawed.
Without the Lord (and especially if we keep divorcing ourselves from Him by sinning with porn, fornication, adultery, birth control, abortion, enr.), it doesn't matter what man-made plans or watchmen you come up with, it will never work for very long.
‘Extended to all family members’? No one would run for office.
One of the best things that helped Trump was he was rich enough that he couldn't be bought. Maybe some of us apes will run for office when Gamestop takes off and the MOASS happens. We'll all be rich enough that we cannot be bought. I personally would keep a record of everyone that comes to try to bribe me. I also wouldn't take any donations at all, I'd be entirely self-funded.
I'm still on the fence but may run for my state house position (my rep is retiring, he's been awesome).
Kinda my thoughts there too. Only small donations, since I'm not the most well off financially. And only to pay staff or help.
This is the way.
It can be done. Look at Ed Durr, roughly 160 dollars to take down the Senate President in New Jersey.
That's some great trolling right there.
No more book deals!!!!
I think it probably needs to be like military. Low pay but all your housing, travel, etc is covered for work and you get a good amount of time off.
I haven't been able to come up with a logical audit system but at the same time I can tell you that if we abolish the fed, remove the IRS, abolish the middle men and unrig the markets then people will have so much damn money you won't need to get bribes.
Imagine making 48k and actually bringing home 3700 dollars a month....then imagine the banks paying you 8 to 12% to hold your money. We would all be out of debt slavery.
We can add an Assload of R's to this list as well.
Uniparty... didn't Q say that 90% of our lawmakers were compromised...
Absolutely agree. Not just that they should be audited, but should not be allowed to make stock market trades. It is cheating and fraud and dirty money that keeps them in congress for life, not the love of country.
Or become a "consultant" after serving...tear down K street...no lobbyists
The independent auditor would have to be closely monitored for honesty, and no bribery or blackmail.
Democracy and money just don't mix. 😑
Even normies are making content about these swamp rats.
If we had a small simple government that actually adhered to the Constitution, this wouldn't be an issue.
I'm convinced that every last piece of foreign aid is some form of money laundering and kick backs for the DC swamp.
Both parties actively participate.
Gamestop is the way.
Although the amount of money mentioned is a fair amount, it's peanuts compared to what super rich people have. These idiots are mere puppets.
