One line in the email that caught my eye was the following :
“Information that was collected will remain confidential and will not be used by the Company unless and until it is required to do so by federal, state, or local requirements.”
Good man, don't do it. I went through this same thing back in September, all this stuff about how it's mandatory to upload the status, I refused, turned out all they did was dock my yearly bonus (which I'm not even going to stick around to get because I got a different job starting soon) but it was all bark and not bite. The particulars of your health are NONE of their business.
Still waiting on my employer to retract theirs. We were supposed to have our status uploaded by tomorrow. I refuse! Not happening!
Remind them what happened yesterday. OSHA cannot fine them. You, however; may have more clout if they try to force you. Lawyers will work pro bono
