Kary Mullis was one of many who tried to expose Fauci. I would really encourage watching this whole vide, keeping in mind this was a decade before Covid: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9vuxibKj4z8

Also RFK Jr's book Real Anthony Fauci goes into that history as well.

There is a lot more you can dig into. There was a trail of bodies (literally and figuratively) of researchers who spoke against Fauci.
