You have to keep in mind that the entire stock market is a manipulated place. They sit there with their computer algorithms and constantly keep manipulating prices of various stocks and indicies to keep the illusion of a free-market going, while also allowing the Wall Street to launder billions for the Elites, and crush anyone who doesn't play their game.
They are trying/tried the same shit with DWAC. Doesn't work because of its small float and the big patriotic base willing to just HODL it. Just like the GME/AMC squeeze and Silver Squeeze, I am hoping there will be a DWAC squeeze.
As for normal people, lefties, shorting DWAC due to political ideologies, are there such people? If there are, they are dumber than bricks, and they will be rewarded with all that they deserve.
The most interesting thing I find is the differential between DWAC and DWACW. Currently DWACW is trading at around $24, so by exercising it with an additional $11.50, you can pick up DWAC at $35.50. DWAC is currently trading at 70.88.
I don't get the reason for this differential, and why no one is jumping on it to make free money.
Thats correct, however you can convert them to DWAC shares anytime I believe. I am not 100% sure about it, but I did not see any restrictions of when that conversion can happen.

I’m considering the warrants, but am I understanding it correctly in that if the merger doesn’t happen then you just lose the warrants outright?
