I think her being buds with the Obamas and being part of the in group in Hollywood is all her PR. They don't get invited to any of the of elite gatherings (awards shows, Obama's birthday bash, etc.) She thought that by marrying Harry she would become an A-lister and have a rival American royal court but it hasn't happened. The elites have chosen the Royal Family's side in the "Harkles vs the royals" battle. She's little "e" evil whereas Hellywood and the Royals are big "e" Evil.
