I’m almost 70- never had a flu shot —hahahaha- had whooping cough in my late 50’s working alongside people from south of the US/Texas border- I’m still here- vaccines from childhood only prolong the inevitable when you have open borders- my mom had whooping cough (Pertussis for those who don’t know) at 6-7 in the 1920’s and survived— maybe, just maybe we need to start letting kids develop immune systems again- I had measles, mumps, chicken pox, German measles and lots of colds, strep throat and I rarely get sick now—
But you survived and now have lifetime immunity to not only mumps but your amazing cells will now protect you from many viruses similar to mumps- you are good to go for a long time- much longer than vaccines provide
