No job is worth endangering the health of anyone, especially unborn babies.
I'm happy that she and the baby are doing well, and I wish them all the best.
But I am so disappointed that so many people here (who should know better) are getting jabbed due to a job. I'm not trying to signal her out, because I've seen several people mentioning that a friend or loved one was jabbed to keep a job.
I'm sure it was a difficult decision for her to make. I wish there was a way to set up a support system for people, especially pregnant women, who are facing losing jobs if they don't get vaxxed. Like a directory of employers who don't require it, or doctors who can get them a medical exemption, or even small low interest loans to tide them over until they find a new job.
It just seems like there should be more done to protect the unborn babies that are being put in danger.
Again, I wish all the best for you and your family.
Tried to convince her. Didn’t help two older sister took both and boosters and had only short term temporary side affects
I'm sure you did everything you could to try to convince her. You can't beat yourself up over it. She is an adult and responsible for her own choices.
I wasn't trying to single her out. It's just that I've seen so many people saying they HAD to get the jab because of work. After so many times seeing the same thing, it gets a little exasperating.
I hope I didn't make you feel badly about it, because I'm certain you did all you could to stop her.
I hope everything goes well for her and the baby. My very best wishes for all of you.
