maybe someone is else wondering too, i just don't know ... The trucks that are blocking the path taken to transport between Canada and the US as mandate protest. How will this affect. What kind of goods do we get from them and vice versa.

The main impact on the U.S. side will be auto plants will run out of parts.
The Canada side it will probably be auto parts and food. A Canadian anon commented a few days ago they import a lot of U.S. food this time of year.
Saw a video from a Canadian trucker I believe was posted on here a day or two ago. He was cleaning out his truck because he wasn’t going to get the jab. He said they say there are about 10,000 trucks impacted by this but his educated estimate was closer to 38,000. We are going to be finding out real soon just how badly this will impact our supply chain.
Through the years they shut down our factories to make us dependent upon other nations especially China. Now they are closing our supply lines in every way possible. This is all part of their long term plan to put the squeeze on us and destroy us. We have had the reputation for years as being the most powerful nation in the world. It has been but an illusion. Independence is power. We lost our independence years ago. We can easily be held hostage by those dealing in essential goods.
But one thing the powers that be underestimate about the American People, our power of ingenuity. We always find a way around the system. This too shall pass!
Basically less car parts. It'll hurt Canada a lot more than it'll hurt the US. We're Canada's biggest trading partner, they rely on us for something like 70% of their food supply since they can't farm like we do given most of the country is basically the same climate and geography as Alaska.
A lot of lumber comes from Canada. But where I am from most of it arrives here via rail. From what I understand the rail and ports seem to be unaffected, only cross border trucking seems to be impacted.
That will shift to rail very fast.
Just saw on news yesterday migrants stealing from train cars. Said mostly Amazon boxes tore up and emptied.
everything moves by truck..............everything is going to be impacted.....buckle up ferns....its goin to get hot
Less lumber I'm guessing building costs are going to skyrocket.
The US actually manufactures more lumber than any other country on the planet, Canada is second. So that's probably not going to happen. Most of our wood products (Lumber, paper, pulp, cardboard, etc.) comes from domestic tree farms in the south. Texas, Georgia, Alabama, and Louisiana in particular are the big producers. Oregon and Washington also produce quite a bit, but it's more of a specialty lumber rather than general all purpose lumber.
Yes, pine trees sprout like weeds on any unmowed land in the southeast.
Good to know, thanks.
If Molson is your brand of beer I'd start shopping for domestic alternatives
