did you seriously just post a snopes link. i don't care if you were trying to prove that water is wet, you would not link to a snopes factcheck . GTFOH with that snopes shit.
That being said, I do appreciate your comment and your critical thinking. Part of the reason that I posted this image is to challenge the critical thinking skills of the group, and to also stimulate conversation on the topic. It is obviously not the real Buzz Aldrin account without the blue checkmark. However, I have seen video showing these multiple pyramids (yes multiple) in Antarctica. I recall 3CreepyTV used to have several videos that covered this topic. His channel and the content was removed but some remains if you search for him on the intertubes. Sorry to bend your pick. Sometimes Snopes is right, and their analysis seemed objective. Prove them wrong. I'm not the only person here who thinks this is a hoax.
As for pyramids, there were some noteworthy formations on Mars that fell under the same concept, but were later dismissed once better imagery was available. Of all the possible shapes that mountain peaks can have, a pyramid is one of them (e.g., the Matterhorn). Remember that the ice cap is about 2 km thick, so we would be seeing only peaks, not entire mountains.
