Tiny Tony is several million times worse than Dahmer, who at least had the "decency" (can't really find a better word) to do his evil deeds himself. Fauchi has been a known genocidal murderer for 50 years, all without getting his dainty, manicured hands dirty.
There are actually religious candles with his rat-face (am@zon) on them and people seem to buy them (hopefully most are paid reviews).
It's been decades since I read the book, have a hardcopy somewhere, moved it up to my next read list. Just from the synopsis, it would be difficult to not to see the comparsion, thanks! I'll definitely be reading with a new perseptive. It was published in 1957 and clealy talking about DEWS (Project X). The timeframe of the story is intentionally obscured. One interesting thing that came up searching "Stadler", Ferris' shadow boss in the book, is a real company that has recently (published January 18, 2022) been given a gigantic 4.5+b, largest ever, train-tram contract, which I do recall figures heavily in the book:
