I started off with text but converted to an audio book. Caveat: I have not checked to see how original it is.
Orwell mentions flat screen TVs that broadcast propaganda and watch and listen to you all the time. After CNN and Edward Snowdon we know how that works. We know about the inverted names like the "Ministry of Love" and "Ministry of Peace". We have Antifa, BLM, Democracy etc.
Then there is the "Memory Hole" where facts disappear. History that is constantly being updated. The Global Warming people use that. Previous temperatures always seem to fall making the current temperature rise look drastic.
Orwell's 1984 is a Warning to the Good PPL of the planet. Some of the elite have used it as an instruction manual to subjugate & control the PPL . What we are seeing today is the manifestation of those concepts put to use.
Every 7th,8th or 9th grade student, should have to read this book, and receive a lecture about what this book portrays, and what it means to being a Free Person, living in a Free Country, or Being a Slave in a Totalitarian Country like Russia, China, Cuba, etc... Where you have NO Rights at all, and are TOLD what to do, where to work, how much food is ration to you / family, etc... The PPL wanting Socialism, should be forced to live in a Totalitarian Country for 6mo to a year. If they still like it, they can stay.
If defectors in the 10000's+ that got out of these country's story's don't convince them of the terrible conditions. Then why are there an extremely FEW PPL that ever defect to those country's...?
Many people think Orwell was a good story teller and good at predicting future. He did no such thing. He was in CIA and he came across these plans for future enslavement. He decided to let people know, via fiction, about these plans.
William Cooper, who had also seen the same documents, had one episode where the talked about Orwell. The impression I got was that Orwell was scared to go directly against the Cabal but his conscience would not allow him to do nothing, so he decided to create a novel out of it, whereas people like Cooper went against the Cabal and screamed at the top of their lungs about these and paid the price for that.
I do believe Orwell paid the price as well - he died less than 8 months after publishing the book. Perhaps he did live behind 1984 etched in collective consciousness, that today if you mention that book in relation to plandemic, it does seem to bring some awareness to some people at least.
I read it many years ago and I couldnt put it down. I read it everywhere I went for a few days until it was done and it made me so mad. No book has ever made me feel such powerful emotions. I knew it was happening around me and I knew what was to come. We are there.
