I knew of hard evidence regarding a very dirty police sergeant back in the late 80’s, so I called the FBI from a phone booth and told the agent everything I knew. The sergeant was arrested and did hard prison time.

Just like organized crime. If they don't have permission or if they don't kick up a percentage, they get punished.
