I know there have been a few discords out there that have been shut down..
But how about those old school chat rooms from back in the day? Any of those floating around?

ublock origin is your fren. block all g domains on all websites. profit.
Do you have a good video or link for using and setting up ublock?
None that I have looked at, but there are plenty I'm sure. Depending on your comfort level with techie stuff, and your willingness to manually enable domains on certain websites, you can either use the "set and forget" setting or the more hands-on "expert mode" approach. There's a learning curve with the latter but it offers the most protection.
For example, I set up ublock origin to block all 3rd party scripts across all domains. This breaks many websites so you have to figure out which blocked domain(s) are essential to load the page, and whitelist them. Many times these essential domains contains "cdn" or "js" in the domain, like cdn.cloudflare.com. It can be a trial and error- this is the biggest learning curve. Good news is once you figure it out, you can save it and ublock origin will remember to whitelist those domains next time you visit.
This is really just the tip of the iceberg. If you're serious about privacy, consider spoofing your user agent, masking your referrer, using a browser that doesn't collect and sell your data, and best of all using a VPN.
