We dont have a real Constitution, we never had a Trump to vote for, we all hate Trudeau, and are just doing our best to hold the line.
You guys brag that the mandates were shot down in America, what did that have to do with you, or this community? You were just lucky enough to be born in the only Country with a proper Constitution..no offense intended here...
What are we supposed to do to stop being called cucks? Theres protests in the major cities every week, theres thousand of truckers driving to Ottawa right now to protest, no one cares about masks and theres places accepting dog photos for vax passports, how is it our fault that eveey single judge and mayor in the land is cucked? Please don't mention elections, you think yours are bad? Dominion is a Canadian founded company...
Please have a little empathy, I am stuck behind enemy lines, I cannot leave, I cannot fight(Canadian police are militarized and ARS were taken away in 2020) all I can do is hold the line, just like thousands of you Americans. Please stop calling us cucks because we were simply born 100 miles too far North...
I've seen them 10 times. PoW thru R30 (which doesn't add up till you know RTB 3 times).
Edit: Yes that is one of their best. Yet still objectively they were ripping off the Police more than they realized/cared to admit.
Edit 2: There are 25 Stones songs better than TSoR so there goes that argument.
Enemy Within was one of the high points of R30 for sure. I wasn't interested by R40 obviously - though despite the lack of interest missing them at Red Rocks was probably an error (I forget which tour that was).
Increasing dislike for me has less to do with Neil's (disappointing) trend from libertarian/Objectivist ideas that you cite, and more to do with having a super fanboy produce their stuff - though the trend you cite is super annoying and I could go on at length about Neil being basically an insufferable spoiled brat, and really rather mean. Though I thought he was more about busting on fat Americans for being Christian, not the opposite.
As for inspiration, actually I thought Vapor Trails was one of their best albums but it sounds like such garbage (and the neutered remaster should NOT have been a remix too - ruining Peaceable Kingdom in that fashion was an extreme disappointment) that it's just URRGH!
(Though if you hear an album properly done on the right system with that kind of compression you can tell what they were after, they just missed. Jesus and Mary Chain's "Honey's Dead" is amazing in this very weird respect.)
An interesting aside is someone on here recently wondered if Neil's death was due to him being sucked in and a sacrifice or something. I was like no, I don't think any of these 3 guys got involved. Yet, I got to thinking - he DID relocate to LA, coincidentally Rush strangely got mainstream popular at least to a degree at the end of their career (which could admittedly be just due to fans growing up in positions to make a difference, but still), he did remarry and have a small daughter (hmm?)....
Did cabal get to Peart? Good question. If so, it was probably around the time he added the rap section to Roll The Bones.
