And you don't have dependants who need a warm place to sleep and food? You're right of course. You can choose to see your children starve. Admirable principles.
I have children. One died as a young teen. I watched her suffer. I would have given my life to stop it. If your principles allow you to see your babies pay the price, you're a stronger person than i. Judge as you will.
And this "most complied" population were denied informed consent, so the onus is not on them, since informed consent is required to put the onus on the victim. You have a warped notion of free will. Free from what? Certainly not from threats, duress, and coercion, all of which are designed to break one's resistance. We are not condemned by God because we are mere mortals; we are forgiven. I don't know what you think you are gaining by such a sanctimonious, unforgiving, judgmental attitude toward those who had been deceived and abused.
That's disputable, on several points. It's a rather negative and pessimistic view of humans, too.
I know of many who took the injection, and it was by no means an easy path.
That's the point. The coercion people were presented with, around here, anyway, made things VERY difficult. Calling the path easy does a disservice to those who wrestled, grappled and suffered in making their decision.
Best path? I don't think so, but having an attitude that fails to see the suffering and difficulty people experienced and are experiencing is a dick move, imo.
That's a mother's bottom line. I do understand where you are coming from, but I equally understand why people who didn't want the jab got it. The people who forced it are totally responsible. I should say that the thing I wouldn't do for my children is forcing another to take the jab or lying to get a parent to possibly kill their child with the jab.
