Amen, Sister. Thank you, MAGULQ for this thread. Because Jesus himself experienced grief and weariness, he knows how to care for His sheep experiencing the same.
None of us are "worthy", fren, that's what grace (undeserved favor) is all about. Please don't give up, keep trying to connect. God loves you and wants a relationship with you. Sometimes we must endure adversity to learn how much we need Him. Prayers for your comfort and strength through this trial.🙏
What is so astounding is He humanly grieved for Lazarus and comforted Lazarus’ family by raising him from the dead. In Bl. Anne Catherine Emmerich’s visions we’re given to know that he was in a bit of a fog for awhile afterwards. In other words, Lazarus wasn’t instantly back to normal, he had to shake that slumber.
Well he was sweating blood from all the anxiety he was feeling while praying in the Garden before his crucifixion. At least that’s what I remind myself when I feel anxious. Especially during that year I had undiagnosed hyperthyroidism that made me feel like a grizzly bear was chasing me 24/7. Even then I wasn’t at the point of sweating blood.
Amen. Now is the time for us to call upon the Lord, as we are all weary about now. Amen

Amen... 🙏🙏🙏
Very sweet post, thanks.
Needed this today. Thanks.
I have tried, but perhaps I am not worthy.
Forsaken by my family, demonised by my government and prevented from working, ridiculed by my friends, sold everything of value I have, nothing left.
Still, I try to hold on for just one more day. Just one more day.
Dear God, please hear my prayers.

True. Jesus' compassion is awe-inspiring.
Jesus had mental health issues too?
