Really? I thought they were all blind but used sound to navigate?
They use both.
They are fairly near sighted, but need visual cues for mating, dealing with their babies, etc. And many many species eat pollen and fruit,not insects in flight, so the color receptors are critical.
Choosing Wildlife Biology for my undergraduate degree means I know METRIC SHIT-TONS of useless facts like these, lol.
