Peloton means big ball and refers to the clump of cyclists in a race that are the average excluding the tail end last place cyclists and the breakaway top place cyclists.

Just thought I'd share.

Relatively speaking, the peloton of a race is the average. Odd name. Buy our product, we're mediocre.
