This looks intentional that's for sure. Why would they ask her to let them know vs. putting her in some kind of quarantine?

There is a manual for how NOT to correctly contain a biological threat, and they follow it.

Reminds me of Diamond Princess and the people that left the ship were flown to each corner of the US immediately after being released from the ship instead of say, quarantine offshore on a hospital ship while they monitor them further.

I watch too many bio-threat movies where they follow better protocols it seems.
