The first question you can ask is, "How many deaths have you heard of from covid at home?" Then follow up quickly with..."The only deaths I ever hear about are in the hospital."Then again quickly..."It must be the protocol they're using."
The couple of times I've used that they cock their head and the eyebrows raise.
That does sound good as well. But then they'll counter with "but that just means the disease is just that deadly." I think that's a fair rebuttal to be honest.
How can you explain it in a way they understand? Tell them it's odd that the "protocol" doesn't work no matter how many times it's tried?
