I am the youngest of 8 kids. Up until just now, I've been the outcast because of my covid views. I just got an email from my sister announcing she has come over to our side.
"First things first.
It is a hard thing to acknowledge the insidious evil that is rampant in Canada.
I write these words as a triple vaxxed individual (that booster shot in particular is painfully & abundantly filled with shame).
And after a slow awakening and opening of my eyes these past weeks & months, I now sit precariously on the precipice of despair, knowing how complicit I’ve been. It is a hard thing to live in a society that chooses to blindly follow. ENOUGH. ENOUGH. ENOUGH.
I am cheering on that sliver of hope that is the Freedom 2022 convoy.
Perhaps we can evolve. Change is coming.
Hoping life in your neck of the woods is well."
Exactly! Which is why we must avoid the "I told you so" approach. We're here to help, not mock.
If they show some humility and genuine awakening, sure. But the ego is a powerful thing and they may realize they were lied to and still lash out at those of us who pushed for freedom regardless.
Many I feel know deep down they fucked up and want to bring us down with them.
If I am around those types long enough, I make sure to find something I can agree with, this can be very hard, then I tell them "Yea, your right", this kind of helps some to open up.
