Make do or do without or buy Made in the USA is our home motto for most things. I shop Goodwill and other stores for older, still working or fixable appliances and housewares. My DH is handy and is part of the Maker/Right to Repair crowd. I also know how to sew and refashion older clothing that is better made than the flimsy, throw-away garments sold at Target and WalMart.
