Dr. Ryke Geerd Hamer demonstrated with over 30,000+ case studies that cancers (and most dis-eases) originate in the psyche and are caused by an unexpected event he called a "conflict shock", which can last for many weeks, months or even years. The primitive psyche, having on sense of past or future, reacts as if there is a threat in the present moment which causes, in the case of cancer, cell proliferation in the appropriate organ relating to the perceived shock/threat. He had cancer largely figured out in 1982. His findings, given to the German health ministry, were never evaluated and remain locked away for nobody to see.
