Yes it's one of the densest books ever written but my god it is majestic.

I AM passionate about language and writing. Just not sitting down and reading lol. But Cormac's gorgeous descriptions and turns of phrase is haunting.

"God speaks in stones and trees, the bones of things."

"The freedom of birds is an insult to me. I'd have them all in zoos."

"He dances in light and in shadow and he is a great favourite. He never sleeps, the Judge. Oh he is dancing, dancing. He says, that he, will never die."

Just a few of my faves off the top of my head haha. I was thinking of doing an audio reading of it for my youtube channel but the range of western/southern American accents would be tricky for a Brit lol
