Well, Lincoln did vow to protect slavery for all-time in his Inaugural address. He only "abolished" it after the Union had lost several battles during the war. Interesting.

It's ironic that all the South had to do to keep their peculiar institution going was nothing. They were under the false impression Lincoln was the AOC of abolitionists thanks to the lying media of the times.

I thought the Republican Party platform in 1865 was to abolish slavery.
That was its public platform. There was a sinister meaning tho. They wanted to enslave everyone, not just black people. From chattel slavery to corporate slavery to the beast system.
After black slaves it was Irish, after Irish it was Italian. Illegal immigration is a form of trafficking.
