Stocks will shrink in stores, no doubt, because every truck is critical right now. They're doing hero work right now, but their other mission critical job goes unattended by whatever number of truckers participate. The catch-22 of it is real. Recommend stocking a few weeks of food, batteries, water and whatever else you could need. Make sure your prescriptions are filled, too.
Game on! God bless all our truckers, fighting right now or not.
I learned last month how important truckers are to getting medication. The interstate was closed for 4 or 5 days and the pharmacy could only give me a few days worth of meds. I was told that if it didn't reopen by the time I ran out, to come back and they'd see if the could give me another day or two. So I cut those few pills in half just in case it was longer than they expected. So, I suggest those who take medications buy a pill cutter just in case.
