Trucks with air breaks require air pressure to disable the breaking system. If the air pressure system is disabled the wheels are locked solid and that truck is immobile.

Big wreckers have back up compressors to pressurize trucks they pickup. But it does complicated the situation.

Yep…. But if the airlines are damaged before the truck is abandoned each of those trucks will need to be repaired before they are moved.
