The only problem with your jubilation is that refraction is a fact. This particular case is seen only as a special weather condition. You may not want to hear that it is a fata morgana, but it is a fact of meteorology. It still leads to a spherical Earth. If you don't think it can exist, then it completely disproves a flat earth, because if the Earth was "flat," you could see a lot farther than 50 miles.

But that is irrelevant, when there is history of circumnavigation. Photos of the planet. Space travel. Go get lost in some ignorance over atmospheric optical phenomena...you still haven't the ability to disprove the physical facts of the Earth's sphericity.

You are indeed in need of a Great Awakening, to most of the history of the past 500 years. Have you noticed that all you have are questions (no answers) and that I am providing answers (which you refuse because you don't like them, not because they are the wrong answers).
