Its worse than that though. Even if they support the mandates etc they can't afford to tow them away because that is their ENTIRE customer base. They'd go out of business in months if they get involved at all and they know it. Its pure lose lose for the tow companies to even show up.
I think you're right that most of them are siding with the truckers but any of them that aren't face a massive backlash if they cross the line. The police are never going to get true cooperation out of them. And frankly even if they did a dozen tow trucks won't help when they need to move several thousand semis anyway.
