Yeah, he sure did. Mencken also said "Hollywood is a trip though a sewer in a glass bottom boat". Another great one, though I'm paraphrasing was to the effect that plain folk would have exactly what they desire with a moron in the White House. Sorry for any inaccuracy, my faulty memory.
