Seems weirdly right.... Maybe worth looking into this "candidate threatening to expose" the LV shooting...

Maybe he's a distraction to get Lombardo OUT and unheard from again?

Not sure this angle is completely right. And very likely Lombardo is unlikely bto say anything EVEN IF he wins.

But definitely more going on here then the obvious as usual.
