Do you have an internal stream of language and ideas? Can a lack of internal dialog lead to lack of (self) awareness? Is it required for the proper application of logic? Fundamental questions I think.
People Are Shocked to Discover That Not Everyone Has an Inner Monologue
That makes sense as the process of empathetic logic. I can't grok how to do this without the dialog between them.
If it were an argument between people described to me, yes I'd need the dialogue of the exchange so each of my simulated protagonists is updated with the latest point. I then update their state in my mind, and am able to describe their reaction in words, but maybe I hold my collection of information about people's emotional state or knowledge in a non verbal format, but one which can be described in words when interrogated.
It seems normal to me not to store or process thoughts as sentences .
I will ruminate on this. Thank you.
Actually, so will I.
