They were probably going to send the $10mil to Black Lives Matter or Planned Parenthood but were advised against it by their lawyers. The charities "chosen by Freedom Convoy..." bit was a shuck and jive. GFM keeps their commission, starves the trucker convoy, and avoids getting sued for fraud. Truckers probably told them to eat a bag of dicks and either release the money or refund it.
